Robinson and Waymo, an American autonomous driving technology startup, announce a strategic collaboration aimed at accelerating the development of autonomous trucks for supply chains. Waymo Via driverless trucks will carry the freight of customers of the company over the next several years through multiple test projects. Information sharing and expertise will support long-term growth in autonomous freight transportation for carriers and consumers alike.
  • July 2021: Aegis Logistics and Royal Vopak of the Netherlands will establish a joint venture to be called Aegis Vopak Terminals (AVTL) with a focus on growth, in joint ventures, in the LPG, chemical storage, and handling industry. The new alliance will operate a chain of terminals currently located in five key ports on India's east and west coast. The alliance will become one of the largest independent storage firms for chemicals and LPG in India with a combined capacity of nearly 9,60,000 cubic meters.
