In August 2023, Check Point Software Technologies Ltd, an Israeli cybersecurity tech company, acquired Perimeter 81 Ltd, an Israeli Security Service Edge company. This combination will enable Check Point to support organizations in facilitating secure access for the end-users, remote branches, cloud, data centers, and internet to be a part of them and deliver the SSE technology at the fastest speed. 

In June 2023, Palo Alto Networks, Inc. (U.S.) partnered with Accenture plc (Ireland) to deliver joint secure access service edge (SASE) solutions that enable organizations to improve their cybersecurity posture and accelerate business transformation initiatives. 

In October 2022 the company revealed comprehensive cloud delivered evolution of its new at-scale security service, FortiSASE to guarantee quality security for all user traffic to and from the internet. Current updates of FortiSASE involve new additions to improve capability in private and SaaS access security situations. 

In February 2022, SPECTRAL is innovative in the automated code security space, and Check Point purchased it. By doing so, Check Point would expand its Cloud Guard offering, a developer-first security platform and has the broadest Cloud application security portfolio available in the market.
