Gyroscopes Market News

  • Honeywell added the HGuide i400, a new Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), to their lineup of industrial navigation devices in October 2023. This new IMU is especially made for a wide range of autonomous, military, and industrial applications including air, land, and sea vehicles as well as related equipment. With its Gyro Bias Repeatability of less than one degree per hour, the HGuide i400 IMU raises the bar for compact precision. Compared to previous models, it performs without sacrificing size or weight, measuring only 28 mm (about 1.1 in) by 25 mm (about 0.98 in).
  • The smallest 1°/hour inertial measurement unit (IMU) in the world, the TAC-440 MEMS IMU, was unveiled by EMCORE Corporation in September 2023. The Honeywell 1930 and 4930 IMUs can be replaced with the TAC-440, an ultra-compact package that holds less than five cubic inches, and offers superior performance while maintaining form, fit, and functionality.
  • January of 2023 STMicroelectronics, a leading global semiconductor company that serves customers in a wide range of electronics applications, is expanding access to its STM32 microcontroller (MCU) family once again with the introduction of the STM32C0, the cheapest series to date. Throughout the world, STM32 MCUs are used in billions of smart consumers, industrial, and medical devices.
