  • In March 2024, Lockheed Martin Corporation LMT secured a modification contract for its F-35 Lightning II aircraft. The award has been given by Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD. Valued at $663.1 million, the contract is expected to be completed by June 2027. Per this deal, Lockheed will provide recurring logistics support to aid the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter Air Systems’ sustainment efforts.

     

  • In January 2024, Rolls-Royce Plc has inked a long-term agreement with Hyderabad-based Azad Engineering for manufacturing and supplying complex components for its defence aircraft engines. With this strategic partnership, Azad Engineering will join the global supply chain for complex category components fro Rolls-Royce’s  technologically advanced aero engines.
