It has significantly broaden the Link 16 tactical communications network capabilities. It used by the U.S Department of Defence customers and a number of NATO allies for communications between ships, maritime vessels, aircraft and troops operating at the tactical edge. Moreover, recently in June 2022, Rewire and MDA announced that they have won contracts to produce 42 tactical communication antennas each for the U.S. military satellites in low Earth orbit.
