  • In May 2023, Vivalink Inc, announced the launch of one of its wearable and multi-parameter ECG patches that allows for a live broadcast of up to 14 days. Vivalink’s latest device enables remote ECG monitoring for prolonged periods possible through the application of a single patch, reducing burden to patients and clinicians at the same time. Furthermore, patients’ ECG can be streamed in real time, so the clinician has access to the patient’s live ECG wherever he may be. 
  • In May 2023, VTT technical research centre of Finland Ltd announce the development of an ECG Patch that is sustainable and fully biodegradable. The newly launched device is fully recyclable and made of biomaterials. The device is modular due to which the electronic components are easily removable from the disposable patch and reused. 
  • In September 2023, SmartCardia, a medical technology company, received U.S. FDA clearance for its 7-lead real-time ECG monitoring patch and cloud platform. Thanks to its cable-free and waterproof construction, this device will be able to do continuous monitoring for a maximum of 14 days while its cable-free construction will make it easy for users to wear.
